I love that spring brings on festivals for literally every alcoholic beverage, however this one might be our favorite. This Saturday, May 3rd mix up your Sunday Brunch Day with a good ol’ Bloody Mary festival at Blind Whino Arts Club (a funky space in a repurposed church). Sip on cocktails from local restaurants like The Heights, Hank’s Oyster Bar, Del Campo, and more. The $50 ticket also includes lunch sliders from Rocklands BBQ.
We have been known to indulge a good Bloody Mary or three during brunch, often enjoyed with pangs of guilt for cheating on our true love, the mimosa. As we’ve gotten older we’ve appreciated the faux nourishment and lack of champagne dullness we usually get after, we just can’t party like we used to (on cheap champs that is).
For three glorious hours sip on tomato juice (it’s good for you!) and vodka (low in calories!) in all of its variety. We will be the ones on the hunt for the
best side salad garnish, bonus points for the use of old bay. We aren’t biased or anything though.
Let us know if you’re going!
